Vittoria's Emporium is a small coffee stall tucked inside the Kuranda Original Markets, a quiet, shaded courtyard stop known locally for some of the best coffee in the village, and genuinely easy with a dog on lead.

Dog setup. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor courtyard seating under the trees, which is the whole setup here. Keep leads on and dogs settled between the market stalls. Water bowls are often out, but carry your own as backup.

Good to know. Known for standout coffee and food, including well-reviewed falafels, in a relaxed rainforest-market setting. It's a coffee-and-a-sit stop rather than a full meal venue.

Getting there and parking. Address is 13 Therwine Street, inside the Kuranda Original Markets. Free street parking is available on Therwine Street and nearby streets. Usually open Wednesday to Sunday during the day, plus Monday, confirm current hours before visiting as market stallholder hours can shift.

Nearby with the dogs. The market's shaded walkways make for an easy wander with a dog, and the Jumrum Creek Environmental Park walk is close by and dog-friendly. Bird and butterfly sanctuaries nearby don't allow pets inside.

When to go. Weekday mornings are calmer for a coffee with a dog in tow, weekends bring bigger market crowds through the courtyard.
