Beanmeister Cafe

Beanmeister Cafe is a locally loved breakfast and brunch spot on Salisbury Road in Castle Hill, with a reputation built on generous portions, quick service and coffee worth the trip. Eggs benedict with avocado, the bacon and egg roll, bullet coffee and fruit toast all get regular mentions, and the outdoor tables are where the dogs end up.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome at the outdoor seating area, which is relaxed and sunny, on a lead. Indoors is for people only. Staff are known to bring out a water bowl, though carrying your own is the safe bet, and the tables are close to the car park so arrival logistics are simple. Weekend service is busy, so a settled dog matters.

Worth knowing

Hours run 7am to 2:30pm weekdays, 8am to 2pm Saturday and 8:30am to 2pm Sunday, so it is breakfast and lunch only. Weekday mornings are the calm window; weekends draw families from across the Hills district. This is a fuel stop with good food rather than a parkside destination, which is exactly what makes it useful before or after a run elsewhere.

Getting there and parking

Find it at Shop 1, 10 Salisbury Road, Castle Hill, on the corner of Anella Avenue in a quiet commercial pocket. Free street parking is plentiful in the surrounding area, and the Sydney Metro at Castle Hill is a short drive for anyone arriving by train.

Close by with the dogs

For a proper run first, the Coolong Reserve Fenced Dog Park is a short drive away, and the Bidjigal Reserve Platypus Track adds a bushwalk option on the same side of the suburb. Remy Cafe and Bistro is the other strong cafe bet nearby.
