Phase Two

Phase Two is a modern brunch cafe in the middle of Balnarring Village on the Mornington Peninsula, known locally for its polished, Melbourne-style fit-out and a menu built around good coffee and gluten-free options. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating out front.

The dog setup. Well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome at the outdoor tables; indoor seating is for people only. Water bowls are generally put out for dogs, and staff are used to four-legged customers.

Good to know. The Balnarring Bene is the signature brunch order, and the house-made Licca Lucca gelato (made with non-homogenised milk) is worth saving room for. Cheese platters are also on the menu for sharing.

Getting there. Phase Two is at Shop 11/3050 Frankston-Flinders Road, Balnarring, with parking directly in front and around the village shopping strip.

Nearby with the dogs. Balnarring Beach and Merricks Beach are both a short drive away for a post-coffee walk; check council signage for current off-leash times.
