Largs Bay Jetty to North Haven Marina Path

The coastal path from Largs Bay Jetty to North Haven Marina runs along Adelaide's north-west shore through Largs Bay, Taperoo and Osborne. On the sealed path, dogs stay on lead.

Leads and the beaches

The City of Port Adelaide Enfield requires dogs on lead on the shared-use footpaths and on some beach stretches, including parts of North Haven Beach. Other beach zones nearby have their own off-lead or seasonal time rules.

Max: Beach rules change along this coast. Read the sign at each access point before you let the lead go.

The walk

Most of the route follows Coast Park's concrete and bitumen paths, with suburban foreshore footpaths and some sandy beach walking mixed in.

Expect wide gulf views, the historic jetty, long sandy stretches and the marina breakwaters at North Haven.

When to go

The sealed sections suit older dogs. Bring water for the dog, and on hot days skip the sandy stretches.
