Up to two dogs per booking, each under 25kg, and both need to be house-trained. Dogs are kept off the furniture, and stains, smells or excess fur left behind attract an extra cleaning fee. There is a hard line on noise too: no barking on the balcony after 10pm, which is the kind of rule that gets a booking cut short if ignored. The fenced backyard gives a safe off-lead leg-stretch without leaving the property.

Beach access and the rules

Blueys Beach allows dogs on-leash, with off-leash windows early in the morning and again in the evening in designated places, so check the MidCoast Council signage on the day. Boomerang Beach and Elizabeth Beach sit nearby with similar arrangements if Blueys is crowded. The property's path to the sand makes the pre-9am off-leash walk easy, and that is also when the beach is at its quietest.

Blueys Beach is roughly three hours from Sydney and two from Newcastle via the Pacific Coast drive through Forster and Pacific Palms. Book with the off-leash hours in mind and confirm the exact pet conditions with the host before you arrive.
