Lucky Country Leisure Parks Lismore is a caravan and camping park at 42-58 Brunswick St, on the Wilsons River on Lismore's south side. It is a working travellers' park with river views and a quiet, low-key feel, and it takes small dogs on campsites by prior arrangement.

Dogs at the park

The pet rules here are unusually specific, so read them before you book. Dogs must be small: the park's check-in documentation states pets over 6kg are not permitted in the campground. Even under the limit, dogs count as small travelling companions that must be approved by prior arrangement with management, so contact the park before arrival rather than turning up and hoping. Pets are permitted on powered and unpowered campsites, and the park currently focuses on camping rather than cabins, so if you need fixed roof over your head with a dog, ring and confirm what is possible. Bring your dog's bedding, keep them on lead within the park, and pick up after them.

Worth knowing

Lismore is a town still rebuilding after the 2022 floods, and recent guests note new caretakers, a quiet vibe and friendly permanent residents alongside hot showers and clean restrooms. Brunswick Street puts you close to the Lismore CBD and the river levee walk, and the Wilsons River runs right beside the park.

Getting there and parking

Brunswick Street runs south from the CBD across the river, and the park has drive-through style access for caravans and campervans. Lismore's town centre is a few minutes away by car.

Close by with the dogs

Elizabeth Gardens Dog Off Leash Exercise Area is Lismore's central off-lead park, and Hepburn Park Fenced Dog Park in Goonellabah is fully fenced. For coffee after the drive, The Bank Cafe and Espresso is in town.
