Harewood's Hideaway

The dog setup

House rules are the sensible coastal set: clean up after your dog straight away and do not leave them unattended on the property. Bring your own dog bed, bowls and food, since the stay is not set up as a full dog resort.

This is a couples or solo-traveller sort of place rather than a large-group property, best suited to one steady dog. The whole appeal is the walkability: Falcon Beach sits a few minutes on foot for early morning and evening walks, and the sand does the entertaining.

Getting there and parking

Falcon sits just south of Mandurah, an easy drive down from Perth, with free on-site parking at the property. The Dawesville Channel is about four minutes by car, and the Giants of Mandurah sculpture trail is roughly 6.6 km away for a different kind of outing.

While you are out there

The Halls Head Dog Beach is a short drive north for a proper off-leash session, and Seven Trees Coffee covers the local caffeine run.
