Doppio Zero

Doppio Zero is a small Italian pasta shop and cafe at 453 Varley Street, Yorkeys Knob, about 20 minutes north of Cairns, and dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables while you work through fresh handmade pasta and a Di Lorenzo organic coffee.

Nearby with the dogs. Memories Cafe is in the shopping strip a short stroll away, and hidden@yorkeys does dog-friendly garden dining down on Sims Esplanade. Yorkeys Knob Beach is minutes away for a leashed walk, but this is crocodile country, so keep dogs well back from the water's edge and creek mouths.

Best as a morning coffee-and-pasta pickup or a casual outdoor lunch after a beach walk. Good for calm cafe dogs; the outdoor area is compact when it is busy.
